Running MacOs Version on ARM machine does not work

I downloaded the arm version for my mac and tried to run the app but it does not work as macs responds the file is corrupted.
When I download and run the x64 version on my ARM mac the app works.
I tried the ARM version from the github and also from homebrew. both do not work.

Yes I have some problem with 2025.35

I had that problem with the current version 2025.35 and several versions before.

Solution (for me):

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ~\Downloads\SourceGit.app

It would be great if there was a readme file with this note during installation.

when installing with homebrew would it somehow be possible to always do this xattr step after download and before install? I do not know if brew is capable of that and who is maintaining the brew repo with the latest versions, but this would be a fast solution at least when using brew.

or another thing is, why do you not sign it?
