Feature Description*
Please provide a detailed description of the feature you are requesting.
This feature involves implementing a social sharing component on each blog post page. This component would consist of clean, intuitive icons allowing users to share content on major platforms.
The suggested platforms are:
- Twitter (X)
- A "Copy Link" button to copy the URL to the clipboard for universal sharing.
This component should be placed in a visible but non-intrusive location, such as a floating sidebar or at the end of the article content, ensuring it is accessible without disrupting the reading experience.
I'm participating in GSSOC'25 and would love to work on this issue. Please assign it to me.
Use Case
How would this feature enhance your use of the project?
Currently, if a user reads an insightful article and wants to share it with their professional network on LinkedIn or with a relevant community on Reddit, they must manually copy the URL, open the social media site, and create a new post.
This feature would streamline that process into a single click. A user could simply click the LinkedIn icon, and a share dialog would open with the article's title and link pre-filled, making the process frictionless and encouraging more shares.
Benefits
What benefits would this feature bring to the project or community?
- Increased Organic Reach: Makes it effortless for users to act as brand advocates, driving new traffic to the LearnHub platform.
- Enhanced User Engagement: Encourages users to interact with the content beyond just reading it.
- Improved Brand Visibility: More shares on professional platforms like LinkedIn will increase LearnHub's visibility among the target audience of tech professionals and learners.
