Storybook for component development

I find it annoying to have to find a way to trigger new components I'm working on (such as #92) to display, as sometimes just creating a blank router page and dropping it in makes it very awkward to work with and it feels very displaced. As a starting point for work it's quite unintuitive. At the level of complexity we're working ourselves into, creating a Storybook (or if there's a nice Storybook alternative I'm down to check it out) would be super worthwhile.

Looking for community input on this before we convert to an issue and start work on it.
