[Torch] Creating a new profile via web config causes Bluetooth to be disabled

The selection of profile 3 or 4 on Torch seems to disable Bluetooth

My notes:

• Torch running RTK Everywhere v2.2 (July 16th)
• Connect over USB Serial using Tera Term at 115200 baud
• Factory Reset (s r y)
• Reopen the Menu:
  • SparkFun RTK Torch v2.2
  • ** Bluetooth SPP and BLE broadcasting as: Torch Rover-32F2 **
• System menu shows:
  • GNSS: Online - UM980 firmware: 11833
  • Module ID: ff27f4968a0728dd
• Exit the menus
• From my Android phone (an old Samsung Galaxy S7), check I'm paired with Torch Rover-32F2
• Open SW Maps and select:
  • GNSS Connection
  • Connention Mode: Bluetooth LE
  • Device Torch Rover-2F2
  • Instrument Model: SparkFun RTK
  • Connect
• SW Maps connects to the Torch and shows my location
• Disconnect in SW Maps
• Tera Term is still open and connected
  • Rover Accuracy (m): 0.067, SIV: 40 GNSS State: PPP Converged
• Open the User Profiles menu (u)
• Select profile 3 (3) - currently empty
• Exit the menu, Torch reboots
• Bluetooth SPP and BLE broadcasting as: Torch Rover-32F2
• SW Maps is able to connect
• Disconnect
• Open the User Profiles menu (u)
• Select profile 4 (4) - currently empty
• Exit the menu, Torch reboots
• Bluetooth SPP and BLE broadcasting as: Torch Rover-32F2
• SW Maps is able to connect
• No issues so far...
• Disconnect
• Put the Torch into WiFi web config mode (double click of the button)
• On the phone, select the RTK Config 32F2 WiFi hot spot
• Connect. Humm. No captive portal.
• Open Chrome manually. Navigate to 192.168.4.1. I see the RTK web page
• Profile Configuration, select Profile 2 (currently empty)
• Tera Term is showing lots of:
  • ERROR: correctionPriorityUpdateSource invalid priority value 0, valid range (0 - 7)!
• Save Configuration: returns Success: All Saved
• Exit and Reset
• Chrome shows RTK device has now reset. Torch reboots.
• OK. Now we're getting somewhere!

Several differences... Are these 'random'? Or is there an explanation in the code or the main.js ?

The erroneous outputTipAltitude (327680) is caused by it being _uint32_t instead of _bool. There is a fix for that in the release_candidate branch.

OK. I think I understand what's going wrong...

When we change to Profile2 through web config, the web page sends a setProfile,1 to select Profile 2 (one starts at 0, the other starts a 1). updateSettingWithValue calls changeProfileNumber. If changeProfileNumber identifies "this is an empty/new profile slot", it will "overwrite our current settings with defaults" and calls settingsToDefaults. settingsToDefaults loads the defaultSettings into settings BUT it (currently) does not call checkArrayDefaults or checkGNSSArrayDefaults. So, the GNSS constellations are not initialized and so all default to false...

I don't yet know how this causes the subsequent Bluetooth badness, but, regardless, this needs to be fixed!

We know the UM980 fails to configure:

presumably because all the constellations are disabled, and/or all the message rates are wrong, and/or the dynamicModel is wrong. Is that enough to stop Bluetooth?

So, why does it work if we change to a new profile from the Serial menu, instead of the web config? Maybe because it changes to the new profile and then immediately resets the ESP32?

When we do it via the web config, the firmware passes the new empty, unconfigured profile to the web page. The web page then passes it back to the ESP32 during Exit and Reset. Maybe that changes it enough to prevent checkGNSSArrayDefaults from applying the true defaults? Yeah. Yeah. The web page probably changes the 254 indicators enough to prevent the defaults from being applied...

Time to test my fix: add checkArrayDefaults and checkGNSSArrayDefaults to settingsToDefaults :

The root cause was the settings.dataPortBaud being reset to the global default of 230400. Then there was one stray line of code in configureOnce which set the UM980 COM3 to settings.dataPortBaud without changing serialGNSS to match. Why it was there, I'm not sure...

Setting the profile through web config resulted in settings.dataPortBaud being set to 230400 in the profile file. The profile was loaded after beginBoard etc.. That stray line of code was successfully changing the UM980 baud rate. Every command after that failed, because the baud rate was wrong (serialGNSS was still using 115200). That resulted in gnss->configureRover failing and so Bluetooth was never started.
