PPV Channels require daily editing

Channels like this:
NBA 01: Knicks (NYK) x Pistons (DET) start:2025-04-22 00:20:00 stop:2025-04-22 04:20:00

M3u-editor is great for generating the daily m3us for my player, but any customization requires daily editing to change logos or to fix the channel numbers.

The dummy guide doesn't work well with these channels because new channels are assigned a channel number. That prevents use of the "starting channel number" feature, and these channels get added at whatever number is assigned to them.

A replace string feature could solve the logo problem. Or maybe an option to apply one logo to an entire group?

Maybe for the channel numbers there could be an option like "do not assign numbers to new channels"? Or, maybe tweak the "starting channel number" feature to include channels that had a number assigned to them?

I haven't forgotten about this! Still trying to get some other additions buttoned up and tested, but this is still on the list! 😉

I've mostly solved the issue by using the Channels DVR dummy guide instead of the editor's. I previously couldn't because there was no way to add the tags for it, but I got creative with the Group Name field.

This works for adding the necessary tags for CHDVR, Still can't change the logo, but at least I'm not editing every day.

heads up! If you're using Xtream API playlist, I've got an update in the experimental branch that will use stream_id to match channels, which should prevent this issues 😉
