VLC and FFmpeg are two distinct tools with different primary functions. FFmpeg is a command-line tool primarily used for encoding, decoding, and manipulating media files, while VLC is a media player. Not sure what you're asking is possible. |

Coming from Threadfin/Xteve, I had a better streaming experience when using VLC.
FFMPEG had frequent pauses while watching some content. When I switched to VLC to restream it, the issues went away.
I seem to have the same issue with FFMPEG when using m3u-editor.
I'd love to see an option to use VLC.
