How to get running container instance information

Hi,

is it possible to "re-attach" to the running container later? So for example I start a container using:
$containerInstance = DockerContainer::create($imageName)->start();

I would save the ID of the container using:
$containerInstance->getDockerIdentifier()

In the database. After some time (in other parts in the application, different time) I would like to check on the container. Like

1. Is it still running?
2. What is the output?
3. Stop the container..

Is it possible to "re-create" the container instance from the identifier to get the information?
