Override logChanges() function

Hello,

How can I override the logChanges function of the DetectsChanges traits? I've created new traits in myproject under App/traits folder and there I want to override logChanges function because I have encrypted values stored in my DB and the current logChanges stores the plaintext in activity log table. To resolve that I found below code which is working for me.

    {

        $attributes = $model->attributesToBeLogged();
        $model = clone $model;
        $model->append(array_filter($attributes, function ($key) use ($model) {
            return !array_key_exists($key, $model->getAttributes()) && $model->hasGetMutator($key);
        }));
        $model->setHidden(array_diff($model->getHidden(), $attributes));
        $collection = collect($model);
        foreach ($attributes as $attribute) {
            if (Str::contains($attribute, '.')) {
                $changes += self::getRelatedModelAttributeValue($model, $attribute);
            } else {
                $changes += $collection->only($attribute)->toArray();
            }
        }
        return $changes;
}

In model I've accessor and mutators for the encrypted fields.

public function getAttribute($key)
    {
        $value = parent::getAttribute($key);
       
        if (in_array($key, $this->encryptable)) {
           
            if (isset($value)) {
                $value = decrypt($value);
            }
        }
        return $value;
    }

    public function setAttribute($key, $value)
    {
        if (in_array($key, $this->encryptable)) {
           
            $value = encrypt($value);
        }
        return parent::setAttribute($key, $value);
    }

Does anyone know how can I override this trait?
