Is there a reason not to load a collection via query?

I think this method could be improved to check if the media is already loaded. If not it would query the database accordingly to only get the requested collections media.

Maybe something like this with my ugly coding:

            if ($this->relationLoaded('media')) {
                $collection = $this->media;
            } else {
                return $this->media()
                    ->where('collection_name', $collectionName)

        } else {
            $collection = collect($this->unAttachedMediaLibraryItems)->pluck('media');
        }

        return $collection
            ->filter(fn (Media $mediaItem) => $mediaItem->collection_name === $collectionName)
            ->sortBy('order_column')
            ->values();

This might not be that relevant to this question but there is one more thing.

Some users might need to use a custom query to receive the medias. Wouldn't something like $model->getMedia('collection', [], $queryBuilderCallback); be nice to modify the query? Or should we simply stick to $model->media()->...?
