Validation for Temporary Upload?

It seems strange to not be able to config a validation pattern, at last as global, for temporary upload:
if for any reason the cliendside validation should fail, you will end up with potentially malicious files stored, and accessible, in your sistem.

maybe im missing something or it is just overthinking?
is it possible to "override" the Route::mediaLibrary(); macro?
