Get Validator from Collection

Quick question,

Since I can set my collection with rules like so :

$this->addMediaCollection('my-collection')
    ->singleFile()
    ->onlyKeepLatest(3)
    ->acceptsMimeTypes(['image/jpeg']);

Is there a way to retrieve a Validator from this ? Somethink like :

$myModel->getMediaCollection('my-collection')->getValidator();

For now I do it manually :

// in my FormRequest
$collection = $myModel->getMediaCollection('my-collection');

if($collection->singleFile) {
    $validator = $this->validateSingleMedia();
} else {
    $validator = $this->validateMultipleMedia();
}

// etc...

otherwise, is it possible to construct a validator from rules like : mimes:pdf|max:20480 ?
