addMediaFromDisk() is hanging

I'm having some files hang forever on me. I'm uploading a 2GB file from a local file to S3 but it's hanging.
I'm not sure why because I've done larger files than this and it worked fine, but some files are just hanging forever and not giving me any feedback.

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't think it's a problem with this package, but maybe a dependency?
