Is it possible to disable translations?

Is there anyway to disable this? I see no point of having it what so ever, it bloats the database and creates an insane mess. What could possibly be the use case for this? and how from user perspective any tags can be translated?

If I tag my post with #super as a user - who will ever need to translate that?

I just horrified when I saw what was stored in database.

For our use case, we needed translations when building this package.

There is currently no way to disable this. Feel free to fork our work and create the version that works best for your use case.

If the needed for this is simple, well tested and well documented, I'll consider merging it in.
