Using executeAsync does not work

HI guys,
I'm having an issue using the executeAsync. The CMD does work using the execute function , but when switching to executeAsync it does stop executing the CMD on the remote server. Do you have any idea ? I use the following code:

Ssh::create($worker, $ip)
                ->disableStrictHostKeyChecking()
                ->usePrivateKey('SSH_KEY_RSA_PATH')
                ->enableQuietMode()
                ->executeAsync($commands);
