Document code properly

I just had a look at the code and saw that most of it is completely undocumented and there is not really any consistent code style.

* There are some examples, but they use completely different imports.
* There are some temporary testing files(?) inside the resources directory.
* `yaml.__main__` looks like some leftover testing code.
