Are you trying to implement control of in-game operations through an external window input, including generating units, heroes, and controlling them? That's a brilliant idea, looking forward to seeing your complete project.

Yes, that's exactly the purpose.

It's technically a completed prototype already, but I might add more features in the future.

It works by injecting trigger code so methods like CreateUnit, etc already exist. You can only do things that are already possible with triggers. Expanding to non-trigger commands would allow more features, like moving the mouse/etc, but that would require more maintenance since each new version of WC3 would need to be patched, I'm sticking with triggers for now to keep it future-proof.

It uses lua under the hood so it requires reforged. It also requires jass maps to be transpired to lua first. To backport it to WC3 classic would require a rewrite using a different architecture.

I downloaded your demo and copied all the files to the game directory. I even changed the game path to c:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III_retail_\x86_64, but it's still trying to launch Warcraft III.exe‌. Also, it can't read the blankMap_lua.w3x file.

I'm having trouble editing blankMap_lua.w3x in the World Editor.

I'm using version 1.24 of the game.

Would you consider making a detailed tutorial on your YouTube channel? It would also be great if you could release a more user-friendly version.

I only coded this with Reforged support, sorry :(

I'm busy with lots of projects, so for now you really need to be a coder to use this, but I'll make it more user-friendly & do a YT tutorial eventually.
