Images are tiny in v2 editor post 2.6.1

In every version of the Confluence builder after 2.6.1, the embedded images in the resulting Confluence pages are extremely small, regardless of original image size or height/width specification.

I am using the v2 Confluence editor and using MyST (3.0.1) as my parser.

Examples of height/width specifications that are ignored are:

although previously I was having to use these specifications to reduce the size of the images, as the assets themselves are fairly large. Again, sizing does function as expected in 2.6.1 and earlier. Not sure if it could be related to this change?:

Note: when I explicitly align these images left, that appears to revert them to the appropriate size. Is this behavior by design? The inline images are really very small.

This not expected.

Originally when Confluence introduced inlined image support, Confluence did not manipulate the size to restrict their height to a line. We are most likely going to have to remove the default inline option in the v2 editor (going back to what is observed in v2.6.1; back to not supporting multiple images on one line).

Maybe will add a configuration option to give users the ability to control.
