Tasks that need to be accomplished with the development partners, to get to the point where spk (et al.) is a minimum viable product / minimum lovable product, ready to be fully opened, made public, formally announced with PR. We are setting a target date of the end of July, so that we can perhaps aim to be wide by the time SIGGRAPH is upon us (the first week of August). But this is just a placeholder, and we can assess with the partners whether this is reasonable, needs to be pushed farther out, or can be pulled in even sooner. It's hard to evaluate how much time we'll need until the non-SPI folks give us an honest evaluation of how close we are to it being useful outside the Imageworks habitat.
