Advancing the state-of-the-art in Linux binary patching with Shiva

Introduction
My name is Ryan O'Neill (aka ElfMaster). I originated from the 90's hacking scene (Think 1997 EFNet) and currently reside in Seattle WA. I am a security researcher who has been published in phrack, tmpout.sh, poc||gtfo, vxheaven and more. I am the author of the book Learning Linux Binary Analysis and founder of the old https://bitlackeys.org site.
What am I building?
I have put all of this good hacking knowledge to use by building Shiva, a custom dynamic linker, and a state-of-the-art binary hacking technology that was tailored for binary patching during the DARPA AMP (Assured MicroPatching) program in 2021 to 2024 and most recently in the DARPA EBOSS program.
Shiva's current state
Shiva is continuing to evolve and become more robust as it is being continuously tested in various real-world binary patching challenges. Shiva supports AArch64 and X86_64 Linux and has awesome new DWARF features in development. Shiva is not only suited for binary patching but also for building in-process debugging engines, instrumentation engines, security mitigations and much more. Shiva was recently used to implement a new Shiva security module called gASLR (Granular ASLR) that randomly relocates each function at runtime.
Sponsorship goals
Sponsorship would go towards more time to work on Shiva exclusively. I have myriad new features that I am working on... some of which are currently being funded already. I'd like to invest more of my time into Shiva so that I can continue to level it up and bring it into fruition for new architectures with robust support and stability. Feel free to reach out to me for more information about Shiva.
