Compatibility with AOT for native image

Currently Spring Stateachine does not seem to be compatible for AOT processing, hence we cannot create a native image.
I know this issue has been raised a few times before.

It would be really great if we can make SSM compatible with AOT. Is there a plan to implement the same?

Is there a plan to implement the same?

As mentioned in #1080 (comment), this issue cannot be resolved in a patch release, and there is no plan to release another open source minor/major version to support this.
