Uneekor OCR issue

Testing the connector with Uneekor Eye mini and everything works great, aside from 3’s are OCR recognised as 8’s - which causes misreads in GSPro. The View software is now white text on black background, though your documentation shows black text on white background, so not sure if that’s what has changed?

I have tried resizing boxes and changing screen resolutions but nothing changes 3’s being misread.

Is there a way I can re-train the Uneekor font?

Paul( @wonder99 ) does the OCR training, do you have any control of what colours are used?

Sadly not, the later versions of VIEW change the colors to show white text in black boxes and they are not customisable according to Uneekor. Unless there is a registry / hidden setting.

I've attached screenshots above which show the colour scheme that you cant change. I'm happy to help train the OCR if its something I can do or it maybe easier for @wonder99 to keep it self-contained.

I've been digging around other issue posts and may have solved this (but created another?). Just to test it, I downloaded an (older?) Uneekor font file from @wonder99 https://github.com/user-attachments/files/19822694/uneekor.zip (posted on April 19th - #220 (comment)). I've only tested for an hour or so, and it seems to work great with no 3 or 8 mix up issues in GSPro. Is there a possibility the the uneekor.traindeddata file included in the latest releae is the iPad version mention in the other issue?

Good detective work. Yes I made a new training f Ile for issue #220, but it wasn't officially released

So I assume you're using the process renaming utility?

Not yet, as i'm still at the end of a soon to be expired premium subscription from Uneekor. When that gets shut down, they'll push an update and I'll need to use the process renaming utility to keep things working with the connector. I presume others have it working fine?

I'm surprised the updated didn't get pushed to you already. I think others have it working, but I went with the Pro package. I haven't been very happy with Uneekor putting, preferring my ExPutt, so when my winter league starts (requiring putting), I may try the other method.
