Plan changing overnight so I don't have enough charge for the day #2632

Predbat is doing a cost optimisation for you, and if you're on an EV tariff where overnight import rate is less than export rate, it's quite normal to get an overnight charge / discharge / charge cycle. You'd need to supply your debug file and log file to enable better investigation. |

Hey
Ive recently added a 2nd battery to my GivEnergy setup, so now ive got 20kwh of storage as I tend to run out towards the end of the day.
I was expecting predbat to use this capacity by fully charging overnight during the IOG cheap rate, then have lots of energy to use during the day, with a forced discharge towards the end of the day.
When I check the plan before I go to bed, that's exactly what the plan shows. But when I wake up in the morning, the battery is usually at less than 30%, so I end up back in the same situation, running out of energy about 5pm as the solar forecast is almost always wrong.
Looking at the messaging, I see the following (as an example from last night)
23:30 - Predbat status change to: Charging target 5%-100%
03:30 - Predbat status change to: Exporting target 73%-41%
This is from the app pop ups - not sure how to get the actual logs.
Is there any way to make sure I have a full battery ready for 530, and that no export happens during the cheap rate window? Whilst its only an irritation at the moment, in a few weeks time the electric underfloor heating for the bathroom will be coming on, and Ill need the energy more at the end of the day.
