Dark Mode toggle not working

Hi,

I'm using this template for building my package.

The mkdocs.yml for the project is as follows:

I wanted add a dark mode toggle and so I did as per the mkdocs documentation by replacing the following in the project's mkdocs.yml

   palette:
     primary: light blue

with this

  palette:
    - scheme: default
      primary: indigo
      accent: indigo
      toggle:
        icon: material/toggle-switch-off-outline
        name: Switch to dark mode
    - scheme: slate
      primary: red
      accent: red
      toggle:
        icon: material/toggle-switch
        name: Switch to light mode

However, this doesn't work and the toggle is not displayed. Do you have an idea as to why this happens?

Which version of Material for MkDocs are you using?

I actually cloned this repo i.e. mkdocs-material and built the documentation locally. The toggle worked there.

Then it's probably best to ask the authors of the cookie-cutter template.

I've already opened an issue in the repo. Do you have any ideas as to what potentially could cause this?

I ask because the repo author could get back to me by saying it's a mkdocs/mkdocs-material issue, so I'd like to narrow down the cause of this problem.

Ok, it's working now I had to clear browser cache. It seems a toggle less version of my page was cached and that was the issue. The template is working fine now.
