Update a plugin broken by Material v9

Hello everyone!

I use a lot a plugin named mkdocs-ezlinks, that allow supporting wikilinks in a lot of different format.

Since I don't have any update from the original maintainer, I created my own fork here to repair some part (mainly deeply links or the broken link caused by mkdocs 1.4.0)

But, now, I have a new problem and I don't know how can I fix it.

During the build, I have this error :

I tested all my plugins, and ezlinks seems to be the culprint

My python environment is 3.8 (because Netlify doesn't support more)

I really don't know what can cause this issue because I'm not skilled enough to find it, so if anyone has the time to check it!

We can fix it on our side, if you provide a minimal reproduction. See #4718.

We discover in the issue that it's not connected with ezlinks, so I will close with QA!
