Google Analytics doesn't receive data

There are GA tags in the files, but GA says it doesn't receive data. Looking at Sources in the devtool I don't see where the script is

I'm using Google Analytics 4.

The script is complicate than the official one. I'm not sure why:

Did you correctly configure Google Analytics? Note that you must replace the property G-X... with the actual value.

yes. I actively replaced my actual value with the Xs. Anyway, I get the data now. But it's was too slow. It normally doesn't take that long. Plus that I still can't explain the missing script in the sources. It still isn't there.

Well, if the data arrives, it should be fine now. As you can see from the snippet, the tag manager script is dynamically injected:
