Meta: Managing support requests/a busy-trap

This is a follow-up to to Martin's Mastodon post. Having pondered, and acted upon this in a different contenxt (as host/facilitator of a music production community), I've got a ton of thoughts and ideas. Instead of pestering you with a wall of text, I'd like to start with a (crucial?) question.

Dear supporters—by gut estimation:

How many resources (time/energy) do you invest in supporting users, whose level of expertise do not seem to meet the pre-requisite for installing, maintaining, modifying or using mkDocs Material?

Because 'level of expertise'-thing has a tendency of scratching our egos way too easily:
I'm a user who needed to level-up his game to make MM work in a local setting. Because I self-access my level of eg managing server-side software, incl. github close to 0.

I'm very curious where this is going. And look forward to an insightful discussion!
