Task lists inside tabel cell/s

Using task lists make for a nice and easy to read content. Can we use'm inside tables ?

I am fighting currently with some long/wide and unreadable tables, example (first few lines):

Or, are there other ways to use something shorter for the icons, like simply :done:, :progress:, etc. ? Then it should work at least with shorter shortcuts, example :

I tried to create a set of icons under docs/overrides/.icons/material/ and similar/other directories, but it does not seem to work for me.

I do have set in the configuration :

  - pymdownx.emoji:
      emoji_index: !!python/name:material.extensions.emoji.twemoji
      emoji_generator: !!python/name:material.extensions.emoji.to_svg
      options:
        custom_icons:
          - overrides/.icons

Hello @NikosAlexandris,
you'd have to provide a minimal reproduction, as too many elements play together here, admonitions, tables, tasks lists, emojis, etc.
I would first have to be able to run this exactly as you're, to be able to tell if this can work or not.

As for the custom_icons part, I used one and provided an example here:
