Insiders authentification

Hi,

I have a question regarding accessing Insiders.

After accepting the invite, I generated a personal access token (classic, which should probably be specified in the documentation) and plugged it into the command per the instructions at https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/insiders/getting-started/, and when I hit enter, I'm asked for

Password for 'https://github.com':

but whether I type in my password or the PAT, I always get this error

remote: Repository not found.
  fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://github.com/squidfunk/mkdocs-material-insiders.git/'

What am I doing wrong?

I was only able to solve this by replacing the XXX in

export GH_TOKEN=XXX

with the PAT after activating the virtual environment. I think it'd be a good idea to include this in the documentation for less technically versed users like me :)
