vJunos-router interface naming over ge0/0/10

I have the juniper config in place to allow for 96 interfaces:

chassis {
    fpc 0 {
        pic 0 {
            number-of-ports 96;
        }
    }
}

However on boot it seems like the interfaces dont show as up, is there something you need to do to allow ports above 0/0/10 to work?
