Set UEs to RRC_IDLE after being RRC_CONNECTED

Hi,

I'm working on random access. To emulate MTC devices, I want the UEs to repeatedly perform the random access process multiple times. How can I force the UEs to be RRC_IDLE after successfully establishing a link (RRC_CONNECTED-->RRC_IDLE)? Also, how can I ask the UEs to establish a link after forcing it to RRC_IDLE (RRC_IDLE-->RRC_CONNECTED)?
