Performance overview

Hi everyone,
After working with srsRAN for some time, I believe it would be beneficial for the community to have a dedicated space to share performance results. Such a resource could help users compare their setups with others, gain valuable insights, and identify potential areas for improvement.

Ideally, contributors could provide key details such as:

• Desktop specifications (RAM, CPU, kernel flavour)
• RF front-end (e.g USRP b210)
• UE (e.g., srsUE, Quectel modem, COTS phone)
• External synchronization (Octoclock)
• gNB configuration
• Optimizations made on desktops to enhance performance
• Methodology used for measuring performances (iperf3, ping)

These details would create a useful knowledge base for the community. For instance, we could create a new discussion category dedicated to sharing these insights. I would be happy to assist in setting this up.
