Only a subset of flashcards appear in review

With more than a couple of flashcards on a page, I don't see all of them appearing in the review overview.
For example:

multi-line card 1 #card/test
?
answer 1

multi-line card 2 #card/test
?
answer 2

multi-line card 3 #card/test
? 
answer 3

multi-line card 4 #card/test
? 
answer 4

The review only sees cards 1 and 2.

Syntax looks OK to me but I'm new to this plugin (which is also why I'm adding a discussion rather than an issue - I may have missed something obvious)

This is with the latest obsidian and flashcard plugin 1.10.0

Having tried every variation of the o-s-r blessed syntax in several notes, I have come to the conclusion that this must be a bug. I can't get it to recognise all cards in a note, regardless of how I rearrange them.
