GCPs reference for datasets that have `epsg` none, but have GCPs

Sometimes geo data is not properly projected, but has information about location via Ground Control Points, would there be a possibility to share such an information via this or maybe other well maintained STAC extension?

Ideally if the gcps information from this extension could be used in GDAL/rasterio if available:

Could be added as a separate extension or a field in this extension, I guess. Then proj:code would just be set to null.
