[Task] Spike pre-release flow

Description

In the process of mitigating potential regression issue in production, we can add to the flow the pre-release.
The goal is to cut a pre-release for testing the critical user paths in all supported OS.

This spike should investigate how we can leverage the pre-release in a smooth/automatic way ( think about the possibility to test auto-update as well )
