Duplicate empty CSV files?

I seem to have a lot of empty CSV files on my SD card after each trip. There'll be one file that actually contains the recorded trip data, but ~8 blank files. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Using the megaloggerHD with telematics shield with the sketch in this repo.
