Move to TypeScript #161
Description
There is already an issue for moving over to import syntax (#160), which TypeScript would handle out of the box, and we also already have type declarations for our exposed methods. If we allow "implicit any" while transitioning, it should be fairly painless. Still, it's worth considering the effect of this on bundle size, etc.
