Ploi: Git Automation

For my site hosted on a Ploi server, I have Git automation enabled including push:

STATAMIC_GIT_ENABLED=true
STATAMIC_GIT_PUSH=true

Commits work, I see that the server repository has some after changes. However, push does not work.

I added the ssh key of the Ploi user to my private GitHub repo (Settings > Deploy keys) with write access.

However, Laravel logs show me this:

Process Class: Git Command: 'git' 'push' '--porcelain' Error: remote: Write access to repository not granted. fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/org/repo.git/': The requested URL returned error: 403

I don't think that what the deploy key is? Not sure, I've never had to do that before.

But this is not a Statamic issue really, this is a git config thing.

I forgot to check write permissions of the GitHub user that connects the repo to Ploi. It is an organization user and I assumed they have write access by default. Classical beginner issue. 😆
