Wondering if anyone can help?

A client website is 504ing, checking the logs I can see:

Each page has two lines? Is that normal?

What usually triggers this type of message.

I read in another post

The Static cache region [key] not found on [url]. Serving uncached response. message is just a debug message in the log, it shouldn't be causing a 500 error.

But that's exactly what I'm seeing. There's no other errors in laravel.log?

When I run

curl -w '\n%{http_code} %{time_total}s\n' -sS -o /dev/null \ 'https://website.com/slug'

I see this result: 200 4.586989s The second value is how long the page took to load

When I run the same command a second time, it 504s? 504 30.388938s page times out after 30 seconds.

I'm seeing this same issue with other pages, first load is slow, second load 504s?

The home page loads as expected 200 0.681224s

Here's another example

I visited the same page 8 times

It's like it's not using the half_measure cache at all?

laravel.log shows the same message Static cache region [key] not found on [url]. Serving uncached response. for this URL.

@stephenmeehanuk Could you describe the hosting environment you're seeing these issues on? AWS? Cloudflare? Load-balancer?

At first glance it seems like your set up might be the likely cause of this!
