Conditional display of filtered entries

Unfortunately I cannot get this to work and maybe someone has an idea for me.

• I have a collection gin
• This has a taxonomy brands
• On the detail/entry page I would like to show the other gins from the brand (i.e. the same brands tag) of the current entry/gin

So far this works with the code below. But when I have only one gin of a certain brand I would like to not show the section. This IF part is what I cannot figure out.

Can anyone point me towards a solution?

Just got help from a friend and it was very simple and obvious in hindsight:

{{ if gin|count > 0 }}

Does the trick. The my designer's brain sometimes seems to think it has to be complicated.
