Replicator Previews & Partials

First of all thanks to the crew for all the great work on Statamic and the community for being friendly and helpful :)

It's likely I'm missing something here, but I'm finding the Replicator previews pretty hard to make useful for our content editors. I've seen the note about replicator_preview: false but it doesn't seem to work inside partials? See screenshot here:

In this example template_global and intro_content_pre_title both have replicator_preview: false set against them, the latter in the partial yaml file.

In this case I only want to preview intro_content_title which is a text field inside the partial. In a perfect would it would be great to be able opt-in what I want to preview on a replicator rather than opting out of everything.

Is what I'm trying to achieve possible and am I correct that partials don't play nice with the previews?
