Antlers replace modifier with data?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to replace some text in an Antlers template, but with data, specifically:

{{ title replace="{parent:title}|…" }}

Is this not possible or is my syntax wrong?

Figured it out – it works after changing the antlers version from regex to runtime in config/statamic/antlers.php.
