How to filter "Sites" variable with Antlers

Hi everyone, I'm trying to filter which sites get shown when I'm looping through them with Antlers.

I can't seem to use the same filters that I use for other collections. I've had to resort to a clumsy if statement like so:

{{ sites }}
    {{ if name == "English" || name == "Español" }}
       Some stuff here.
    {{ /if }}
{{ /sites }}

Ideally I'd like to be able to add an attribute to each site, something like enabled => yes and then filter by that.

Am I missing something here?
