The app repeatedly loses connection. Restarting the app remedies for a time of between 1 minute to 2 hours.

I've moved here from the 'Alexa' app whose maintenance seems to have been discontinued.

As a very similar problem appears her, only Stefan Schweiger can tell us whether Amazon is at fault.

From my experience this most likely is a network/dns problem.
Once connected the app usually will run fine for 1-2 months before you might need to reconnect to Amazon.

Can you create a flow with the WHEN card (from this app) that lets you know about errors? And then send the message to yourself as a notification. Let me know what it says.

Thanks for getting back. I uninstalled the app, then re-installed it. After a few moments (5 minutes or so) the app crashed and was trying to reactivate. This ends up in a cycle of repeated crashes and attempted re-installations, so I had to de-activate it.

I created the flow as you suggested. However, the only message I receive Is "app crahed". Is there a way of including information on the reason of the crash?

Do you still have the other Alexa app installed? Those two kind of work against each other when it comes to the authentication. So please disable the other one if yes. Then disconnect from your amazon account in the settings and press the reset button. Afterwards restart the app and try to connect again.

I have the same problem as you. Have you managed to solve it somehow?

Unfortunately not. All the suggested remedies haven't worked out (changing DNS server, uninstalling, resetting, restarting etc).
