Authentication issue

Hi
I cannot get the App to authenticate to Amazon.co.uk - get the page showing an Amazon dog, then if try again, get cannot initilialise proxy - any idea what might be casuing this as everything else I have that is authenticated to Amazon works ok?

Stefan Thanks for the update, this worked perfectly. I swapped to your app recently and all working fine now. Not sure why MFA piece changed as was working great up until about 4-5 weeks ago then it was logged and stooped working but the MFA has fixed it. Great work on the App and thanks. Quick question, would it be possible to add a restart flow card or is that function not accessible in the API? I am having the same issue with Amazon.com and i do have 2FA turned on

@rguinn829 do you use SMS 2FA or an authenticator app? To my knowledge the SMS based one will not always work.

IF you have MFA turned on, and your connecting the app may show a ‘page not found’ error page.
Solution: you must go into your Amazon account via web browser and enable 2 factor authentication. Then use an authenticator such as Google Authenticator, problem solved. Use the code that comes through the authenticator app, not the one that Amazon texts to you. Hope this helps.

Guess it was an issue on Amazon.com as it working now.

Yes I do use an app based MFA (2FA) I utilize 1Password for this but I also have a passkey setup.

But I did it again this morning and now says it connected. I look and see if I have the 404 screenshot on my computer

Having the same issue after first receiving a 401 Not autorized error on the 2nd Januari.

• I restarted the app and and got the "Error: Proxy Server could not be initialized. Check Logs." message.
• Restarted homey, no success.
• Then turned the app off, waited 24 hours and tried again, no success.

Edit; Reïnstalling the app solved the issue.

I'm running into the same issue, I assume that either there is a general problem on Amazons side or that they changed their API. I will try to look into it over the weekend. But since this is an open source project anybody is welcome to investigate themselves.
