Unable to get video working

I am able to link the URL of an image, but when I enter the URL to a video I get the following.

I tested the video by pasting the URL into another tab on the browser. I've tried IE11 and Chrome, but get the same response. The video is a simple MP4 document.

I tried http://vjs.zencdn.net/v/oceans.mp4 and get the same response. I even put in a PNG for the video poster and it doesn't show. I added an web site and put in the direct video URL and that works; but it automatically plays.

Hi Stefan,

Is there already a solution? Because I get the same error with feb 2018 sp1 and in Sept 2018 the extension is not working for me. It is all tested in QS Desktop. And I used the latest extension version.

I tried to use the video example but when I try feb 2018 sp1, I get the same error as shown above. If I use sept 2018 I don’t see anything at all.
Furthermore, when I copy and paste the urls supplied in the example into a browser I get access denied messages.

Hi Stefan,
I'm getting the same error in Qlik Sense Desktop April 2020 on Chrome ("No compatible source was found for this video").
Is there anything we can do about it?

Adding more info: In the Chrome "developer tools" console, I'm seeing the error below.

VIDEOJS: ERROR: (CODE:4 MEDIA_ERR_SRC_NOT_SUPPORTED) No compatible source was found for this video. t.D

Last update: Found a workaround! Video works if you set the extension to website and allow interaction (to press play, stop, etc.)
