Any interest in updating to embedded-hal 1.0.0 or other updates? #237

Hello!
I'm starting on a safety critical bms project that's going to use an stm32l0x1, and I'd love to contribute a bit here.
I'm already starting to familiarize myself by making some smaller fixes for warnings and whatnot, but I'm curious if there's an appetite for any larger maintenance efforts, like updating the edition, updating to the 1.0.0 HAL, or otherwise?
