Voice Chat un-intuitive or just not working?

New user here. Set up my and my spouse's account and added each other as friends. Created my first group and invited spouse to it successfully. Can NOT figure out HOW to use the VOICE chat feature. Tried clicking the phone icon, but there is no notification of incoming call on the spouse's PC to alert to an incoming voice call. I HAVE already accepted permissions on both PCs for microphone and speakers. I cannot figure out what the problem is or find documentation on how to make a voice call (or set up a voice channel/room). PLEASE HELP and advise, and I thank you in advance for your assistance and reply!

The voice server is being redeveloped. We have no timeline for release. The current one works but you might need to fiddle with it to get it working. This guide should get you started:

1. Go to the voice settings in settings.
2. Set the input and output, press the button, and grant permissions
3. Join a voice chat
4. Unmute yourself

Any errors or the values disappearing can be safely ignored.

Note that we will provide no further support regarding voice capabilities until the new system is released.
