• Complete requirement analysis and prd of project idea
• Complete phase 1 poc development

Update

• Completed discussing the project idea and handling edge cases like sensitive data upload with Jamie
• Started initial development and completed a poc using the terminal where i can perform the main actions of my project

Context

This project is a personal backup utility that transparently syncs every file you download into your own Storacha-backed IPFS Space. Without writing any code or managing servers, it ensures:

• Automated, Decentralized Backups: Every new download is immediately preserved on a distributed network, protecting against local disk failures.
• User Owned Security: Using Storacha’s UCAN email login flow, all files go into your personal Space, no shared credentials or third-party access.
• Universal Retrieval: Each backup produces a permanent IPFS CID and gateway URL, letting you fetch or share files from anywhere.

We also will be creating a dashboard where we can fetch all these uploaded files and this would act as a backup. We can also later add AI integration for smart categorisation of files downloaded into folders in the dashboard.
