Accomplished Tasks

• Implemented selective-sync rules:
  • File-type filters (whitelist / blacklist)
  • Maximum file-size limit (user-configurable)
  • Folder include / exclude lists
• Added a settings UI in the options page for the above rules (stored via chrome.storage.sync)
• Bug fix: Storacha Space not visible in dashboard
  • Updated upload flow to pass the correct agentId
  • Refreshed delegation capabilities so the UI lists the new Space immediately
• Miscellaneous refactors and minor UI polish

Update

• What went well
  • Granular sync controls give users full ownership over what gets backed up.
  • The dashboard visibility bug is fully resolved, new Spaces appear instantly after first creation.
• Challenges faced
  • Mapping Chrome’s file-system URLs back to real paths for rule-matching was tricky, needed to normalise paths and handle symlinks on macOS.
  • Delegation refresh required a deeper dive into Storacha’s UCAN chain to attach the correct audience and with fields.
