Accomplished Tasks

• Enhanced background.js initialisation flow:
  • Accepts an optional, saved spaceDid on start up.
  • If none is present, scans existing Spaces for one named download-vault.
  • Re-uses the vault if found; otherwise creates a new download-vault Space.
  • Persists whichever spaceDid is finally adopted for future sessions.
• Recorded a new end-to-end demo video (install → login → rule setup → download → backup confirmation).

Update

• What went well
  • Smoothly handles returning users by reusing their existing vault, avoiding duplicate Spaces.
  • Demo confirms seamless onboarding: first run now auto creates and persists a vault without manual steps.
• Challenges faced
  • Needed to reconcile legacy uploads tied to older spaceDid values; added a migration check that warns users if multiple vaults are detected.
  • Ensuring delegation capabilities stay in sync when switching or creating Spaces required additional UCAN refresh logic.
